Overview of Our Services

BLSDC is a travel agency specializing in:

1) DANCE CRUISES:  Our dance cruises refer to cruises that are escorted, usually by a dance teacher, who runs private dance events for our group based on their requests. The events may be group lessons, supervised practice sessions, or extra social dance time private to our group. Unlike almost all other dance cruises, our customers do not pay extra for these added activities or the fare of the dance teacher/escort. In fact, where ever possible, we discount the cruise line's public fare. Typically, we will have about 8-12 escorted cruises per year.

2) CRUISES FOR DANCERS:  Our cruises for dancers are unescorted cruises, where most of the travelers in our group are dancers. The ship may or may not have formal dance activities. When the group is large enough, and when a passenger is willing to be the contact point onboard, we may arrange for reserved dance space for the group to use. The group will be seated together for dining whenever possible and desired by the group. Most of our customers are dancers, and when you travel with dancers, you dance. We work a lot with cruise lines such as Cunard and Crystal, who have ballroom dance amenities (music, dance teachers, and dance hosts) on every sailing. We can book you on any cruise on any cruise line, and we have group rates for hundreds of cruises every year.

3) CABIN MATE MATCHUP:  We also will assist singles in finding compatible cabin mates to avoid paying single supplements. We do not put anyone in your cabin. When you book with us, we will advertise to our mailing list of over 3000 dancers that a man or woman is looking for a cabin mate for the cruise chosen (your name and contact information are not included). If the cruise you want isn't listed, book with us, and we will add your cruise to the list. When we get a response, with both parties' permission, we share your phone number and email address with the other person. The cabin mates can talk or meet (if practical), and both individuals have to tell us they want to room together before we add the second person to the booking. 4) GROUP RATES:  We set up special group rates for hundreds of cruises.  Let us know if you don't see your dream cruise on our web site. We add groups all the time based on client requests. We'll add a group for the cruise of your dreams if group space is still available.

Cunard Cruise Line: Luxury cruises for adults who enjoy dressing to "the nines" aboard the newest fleet at sea. Enjoy the largest hardwood dance floors at sea, high-level dance teachers, dance lessons, dance hosts, and real ballroom music.

Crystal Cruises:  This cruise line was acquired by luxury tour operator Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group in June 2022. A&K bought Crystal's two ocean vessels — Serenity and Symphony.

Oceania Cruises:  Luxury cruises with "Finest Cuisine at Sea."

Celebrity Cruises and Celebrity Galapagos:  All inclusive, luxury voyages.

Silversea:  6-star all-inclusive luxury voyages.

Amtrak Vacation: A great way to travel, excluding international air.
